ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

The Town of Colorado City, Arizona, will receive sealed bids for the construction of the Records Room Addition and ADA Ramp Reconstruction Project. Bids must be submitted to the Town of Colorado City, ATTN: Shirley Zitting, Town Clerk, 25 S. Central St., P.O. Box 70, Colorado City, Arizona, 86021, by 3 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time (Utah) on or before Wednesday May 14, 2025, and will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter. All bids shall be plainly marked on the outside of the sealed envelope with the name of the Contractor, “Records Room & ADA Ramp,” and “Town of Colorado City.” Any proposal received after 3:00 p.m. MDT of the above-specified opening date will be returned unopened.

Bidders must have proof of a valid contractor’s license.

Project scope, in general, is the removal of existing sidewalk and window well, construction of an enclosed underground records room and construction of ADA ADA-compliant ramp from the parking lot to the main entrance of the town Hall. The construction schedule must be coordinated with the Town.

A hard copy of the Contract Documents may be obtained at the above address, upon payment of a $25.00 fee, which is refundable for sets that are in good condition. Substantial answers will be issued to all plan holders.

Contractors must submit evidence that they are fully prepared and have the necessary licenses, experience, capital, and equipment to complete the contract. The Town of Colorado City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any formalities or minor defects.

This is a locally funded project using the Town’s general fund revenues.
